North Russia and Siberia

North Russian tours take you to Russian, Karelian and Finno-Ugric culture as well as to their surrounding nature. The main destinations are the villages of Komi and Nenetsian people, old towns of Vologdian area, ancient culture of Arkhangel area, big rivers such as Petshora and Pinega. The tours are made by trains, busses, boats, flights and helicopter. Accommodation is in hotels, local families and trains.

All the tours give you a lot of experience and information of destinations and people.  These tours depart from Helsinki. 


Even though these tours are not physically demanding, there are some walking every destination and the landscape differs a lot in every place. Also there are stairs but no lifts, harbours and stations where you need to carry your luggage yourself. Of course we help as much as poossible to get some carrying helpers, but it is not possible every place. 

If you are handicapped, we need to discuss before how it is possible to take part in these tours. Some special aggangements are possible.
