South Caucasus

The Caucasus is a mountain range of 1100 km in East Europe and West Asia between Black and Caspian Sea.  The Caucasus is divided into North and South Caucasus which have given the name to the Caucasian people.

The Caucasus have been settled by many small nations and there have been very serious conflicts in its history. It is not so long ago where there was a war between Armenia and Azerbaidzan, Tsetsenia war and the last one between Georgia and Russia in August  2008.

Why there are so many crisis in the Caucasus?  There is no one answer, but several reasons like valuable nature resource, cultural differences, many nations having different ethnical roots and languages, different religions and international politics.

Georgia and Armenia in the Souht Caucasus are breathtaking beautiful countries with magnificent mountains, charming valleys, wide steppes and cliffs.  Combining the nature  with kind and friendly people, delicious kitchen and wine  offers a program which is unforgottable.

Accommodation in Armenia and Georgia are either in hotels or small coutryside guest houses.

Tours to the South Caucasus are made by flights from Finland and further by an own coach to different destinations.

The tours give you experiences of history, culture, religion and nature.
