Depart from Joensuu bus station.
Dates in 2010: June : free seats are available in the 19the of June, Saturday.
July: free seats are availabe in the 3rd, 17th and 31st of July.
In August the 8th, Sunday free seats available.

- transafers from/to Joensuu-Sortavala,
- hydrofoil from/to Sortavala Valamo,
- guided tour in the monastery of Transfiguration, the main monastery area, the main church, lower and upper churches, old cemetery of Valamo brothers, a small concert of Valamo quartet,
- boat to St Nicon Bay, where guided tour in Jerusalem and Gethsemane sketes, Mount of Olives,
- city tour in Sortavala, tour leader from Finland,

Itinerary
At 6.00 depart from Joensuu bus station. At 6.45 arrive in Tohmajärvi and 7.00 in Niirala-Värtsilä border station, where passport control. Coffee break after the border in a cafe.
At 11.00 arrive at Sortavala, where drive to the harbour and hydrofoil to Valamo.
At 12.00 arrvie at Valamo, where a local guide will meet the group in the harbour taking them for a guided tour in the main monastery of Transfiguration visiting the main church (upper and lower church) and the old cemetery of Valamo brothers. The tour ends to Peter and Paul church where a small concert performed by Valamo quartet.
Transfer by a boat to St Nicon Bay where guided tour in Jerusalem and Gethsemane sketes as well as the Mount of Olives (total walking 5-6 km). Lunch in monastery trapesa.
At 17.00 depart by a hydrofoil back to Sortavala, where a city tour and drive to the border of Värtsilä-Niirala. After the passport contol drive via Tohmajärvi to Joensuu arriving around 22.00.
