Itinerary

At 6.00 depart from Joensuu bus station. At 6.45 arrive in Tohmajärvi and  7.30 in Niirala-Värtsilä border station, where passport control. Coffee break after the border in a cafe. 

At 11.00 arrive at Sortavala. The main group is going to Valamo monastery.                                                                                                            To those who stay in Sortavala, there is free time until 18.00, when Valamo travellers are coming back to the town.  We can order taxi or book other services such as lunch and city tour for an order.

At 18.00 meeting the group from Valamo at Sortavala harbour. City tour and drive to the border of Värtsilä-Niirala. After the passport contol drive via Tohmajärvi to Joensuu arriving around 22.00.
