Hotel Ukraine in Kiev locates in Independence Square just in the center of the city.  There are 370 room in the hotel, which has bath / shower, satellite TV and phone. In the Hall there are money exchange, souvenir shops, hair dresser, gym, restaurant and bar.

Hotelli Delfin in Sevastopolissa locates in  Hersons area near the sea surrounded with a beautiful par. There are all fascilities in room including TV, fridge and phone. Hotel was opened in 2006. The bar and restaurant are in the first floor.  www.hotel-dolphin.com.ua

Hotel Palas in Yalta locates in the center of the town just on the shore of Black Sea. Hotel is a part of the holiday resort, where are treatment and bath services. All the rooms have bath / shower, TV, refridgerator, air condition and phone.  www.yalita.ru/palas/

Itinerary


Sunday 18.4.2010
Meeting the tour leader at 14.00 in Helsinki airport. Flight at 16.30 to Kiev arriving at 18.25. Transfer to Ukraine hote for overnight and dinner. 

Monday 19.4.2010                                                                                  Breakfast. City tour including Kiev- Petscherski cave monastery, Sophia cathedral and Mihailovski monastery. Walk in the old town Podil where lunch. At 19.35 train to Simferopol at Crimea. Overnight in double  abins.           

Tuesday 20.4.2010                                                                                               In the train possible to have morning tea or coffee. At 11.00 after arrival at Simferopol breakfast and a tour in the town visiting St Luke church. Transfer to Bahchisarai where guided tour in the castle founded in the 13th century while Tatars conquered Ukraine. In the castle is the famous fountain, which was the theme of one Pushkin Ballet "Bahchisarai Fountain. Bahchisarai was the capital of Crimean Khan until Catherine conquered it to Russia. From the castle we continue to Uspenski monastery which was founded in the 16th century but porobably there were monks already in the 7th century. The monastery is inside the rock where the first church was built for the honour of the appereance of Our Lady. From the monastery we walk to Cufut Cale cave town which were settled by Tatars and  Kariate Jews. After lunch break drive to Simferopol for overnight at Delfin hotel. Dinner.         

Wednesday 21.4.2010                                                                                    After breakfast guided tour in Hersones which Greeks conquered in the 6th century and built there one of their Byzantine settlements. After Hersones city tour in Sevastopol ending at lunch break in the city center. Derive to Jalta where the first stop is in St Klement monastery in Inkerman. St Klement was a missionary who came to Crimea in the 4th century and spoke to people about Christianity. Howerver local people drowned him to Black Sea and it was in the 6th century when St Kirill and Methodios found the the relics and brought them to Rome. The next stop is Foros church up in the mountain, Voronetz and Livadia castle, where Jalta Conference wad held in 1945. Overnight at Palas hotel in Jalta. Dinner.

Thursday 22.4.2010                                                                                          This is a free day. Dinner at the hotel.

Friday 23.4.2010                                                                                              After breakfast we depart along the coast to Feodosia. On the way we stop in Kokktabel and Novyi Svet wine yard. In Feodosia guided tour in Aivasovsky home museum and in the town. Dinner at the hotel. 

Saturday 24.4.2010                                                                                        After brekfast depart for Simferopol. On the way visit Toplovski convent. In Simferopol lunch and depart at 16.45 by train to Kiev.

Sunday 25.4.2010                                                                                               After arrival at Simferopol breakfast. It is free day until the afternoon, when transfer to the airport. At 19.15 flight to Helsinki arriving at 21.15.
