Day 1                                                                                                                       The Sibelius train from Helsinki at 7.27 to Saint Petersburg (Finland Station) at 14.15. It is possible to travel to the centrum by subway. Freetime. About at 19.00 subway to the station of Ladosky. Train to Vologda at 20.40.                                                                                                                 Day 2                                                                                                                     Arrive at the station of Vologda at 9.10. Driving to the hotel . Check-in and breakfast. Freetime. In the afternoon a city tour in Vologda. Getting acquainted with the olden wood architecturea and with the most important resorts of the city.Dinner                                                                                                  Day3                                                                                                                          After the breakfast we will go to the Kreml. There will be Vologdian handicraft for instance lace, old Russian art, icons and folklore. Free time in Vologda.Dinner.                                                                                                        Day4                                                                                                                        Breakfast.Trip to Ferapont convent where are the famous frescos of the painter Dionisia. The drive thre will take approximately 2 hours. We will continue to national park which is next to the convent. We will visit for instance the Mount Maura. Drive to Kirillo where we´ll see the Kirillo-Belozersk monastery and the icon exhibition. After the dinner we will drive back to Vologda.                                                                                          Day5                                                                                                                Breakfast. Trip to the museum of architecture and ethnography which is located in Semenkova. Back to Vologda where dinner. Departure at 19.40 by train to Saint Petersburg.                                                                                    Day 6                                                                                                                Arrive in Saint Petersburg (Station of Ladosky) at 7.46 By subway to the city. Luggage is left in the Finland Station. Free time in Saint Petersburg. At 16.34 the Sibelius train from Saint Petersburg to Helsinki.
